Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 18, 2026 · IGN Inc., CA Public Adjuster License #6002398
This Privacy Policy describes how IGN Inc. (“IGN,” “we,” “us”), a California-licensed public adjusting firm operating the Claimeo platform, collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use our website and client portal. Claimeo exists for one purpose: to prepare, present, and negotiate your first-party property insurance claim on your behalf.
Information we collect
- Contact and identity information — your name, email address, phone number, and property address.
- Claim information — facts about your loss, your insurance policy and declarations, claim numbers, correspondence with your insurance carrier, repair and mitigation records, and settlement figures.
- Documents and photos you upload — policy documents, damage photos, plumber and vendor reports, receipts, and inventories of damaged property.
- Signature records — when you sign a representation agreement electronically, we record the signature, time, IP address, and device information as an audit trail.
- Technical basics — authentication cookies and standard server logs needed to keep your account secure (see our Cookie Policy).
How we use it
- To provide public adjusting services under your signed representation agreement — including preparing, filing, documenting, and negotiating your claim with your insurance carrier.
- To communicate with you about your claim, including status updates, reminders, and documents that need your attention or signature.
- To operate, secure, and improve the platform.
- To comply with California insurance law and our record-keeping obligations as a licensed public adjuster.
Parts of our workflow use artificial intelligence to draft documents and organize claim information. Every external communication prepared with AI assistance is reviewed and approved by a licensed professional before it is sent.
Who we share it with
- Your insurance carrier and its representatives — as necessary to present and negotiate your claim, always on your behalf.
- Vendors involved in your claim — such as mitigation companies, plumbers, or independent appraisers, when you engage them or ask us to coordinate with them.
- Service providers that host our infrastructure (database, file storage, email delivery). They process data on our instructions and have no right to use it for their own purposes.
- Professionals you choose — for example, an attorney you retain, at your direction.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Your California privacy rights
Subject to legal limits (including insurance record-keeping requirements), you may request to know the personal information we hold about you, request corrections, request deletion, and you will never be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, call us or use the contact details below; we will verify your identity before acting on a request.
Retention and security
We keep claim files for the period required of California public adjusters and as needed to resolve your claim and any related disputes. Data is stored with access controls that restrict claim information to you and our staff; documents are served through expiring, signed links.
